Talk about LEOPARD
ROSETING! Tajma has a way to go before she becomes queen but she has
"keeper" written all over her since she has so eloquently inherited
the best selection of traits from her handsome golden father, her
stunning Champion mother and then some! We can hardly wait to see
how this girl will look when she's completely out of
her "fuzzy" stage. We not only have high hopes for Tajma in the
show ring as a kitten but look forward to when she's old
enough to try her paw at championship with the adults and will be
proud to pass on her champion bloodlines to future
Etché kittens with our charming and handsome Texas stud, Nairobi's
Sirocco who is already her wrestling buddy and only
10 days older than her.

NOVA's beauty can be attributed to her unique heritage of
Dr. Centerwald's original ALC used in creating the
bengal breed (ALC name unknown) and the famous BRISTOL line. (a
non-ALC hybrid, beleived to be either the margay, ocelot or oncilla.) Other ALC
heritage: SEGURA KHAN

  NOVA'S CLAIM
TO FAME: Nova is full Sister to Gogees Supreme
Grand Champion Warpaint and Gogees Quadruple Grand Champion
King Armani of Zepyhros. Nova earned her own fame when won 8 ribbons
in her very first United Feline Organization show and topped
it off by winning Best of the Best Kitten! The judges said she has excellent
conformation, gorgeous rosetting, a nice thick tail, a strong
profile and is unusually well glittered for a female. Nova's first
TICA show as an adult was on October 26th & 27th 2002. Nova
is now titled Champion and also received a
ribbon for 5th best Allbreed Cat. She saw some very
nice bengals while she was there and is coming to accept the fact
that there are other spotted cats in the world besides her,
seeing some of the handsome fellas out there made it all
worthwhile. We were delighted that she did so well even
competing with the big boys! We are very proud of her and once again
thank Gene Ducote of Gogees for doing such a good job!
We are very proudof Nova's
contributions to our breeding
program.
Nova
bears a strong physical resemblance to her Asian Leopard Cat
ancestors first with her strong triangular chin, puffy whisker pads,
outlined nocturnal eyes, excellent conformation, tight knit pelt,
powerful long lean build and striking Roman profile. On
the HEAD of all the pages, you can see Nova on her
evening walk (developing that sturdy musculature) and we may be
partial but we believe she is growing up to be a gorgeous young
lady. The photo on the LEFT, is one my friend Merrie took
while she was visiting us, I love how she was able to capture Nova's
"regalness!" Next time, we'll try a little Windex on the china
cabinet and get Nova sitting in the direction that shows her better
side. The RIGHT photo was from the breeder (Gene Ducote
at Gogees) when Nova was still in Louisiana in her "fuzzy" stage.
When we saw this little girl's face and that eyeliner and of course
that spotted tummy , we knew she was exactly the special kitten we'd
been looking for ! She was our first Bengal and from her, we
have learned how unique these cats can be. She loves to fetch and
she is by far, the most intelligent, athletic and active cat we have
known and keeps us well entertained with her midair
ballet-like leaps and twists in that even Mikhail Barishnikov would
have to admire!

  JAGUARSLAIR

Simba's beauty can be attributed to her heritage from the PHANTOM Asian Leopard Line.

KITTENS in March?!

SIMBA'S CLAIM TO FAME: Simba is the
lovely granddaughter of JoyKatz RW Supreme Grand Champion Ace
Inda Hole and her Daddy JoyKatz Touchdown is a a Supreme Grand
Champion too.
Simba
is especially sweet and affectionate, she has an irresistible
meow that goes perfectly with her personality, it's a kind of
purr~meow that happens sometimes with the other cats but always with
little Simba. She glides low to the ground with the flowing
grace reminiscent of a wild leopard and is very efficient when
playing her hunting games with other cats and toys but she is tame
as can be and always plays with her claws in no matter how wild the
games become. She has almond shaped chartreuse green eyes that
exhibit her natural maturnal instincts. Simba is as fast and
powerful as the boys but her build is 100% feminine in every
way.
In the
ABOVE photo,Simba had just awoken from a cat nap and we couldn't
resist catching her in this pose. In the TOP LEFT photo, when
we saw that sweet (wouldn't hurt a flea) face, we knew she was
the perfect companion to guide Nova into "queendom." We are
amazed by how golden and glittered her coat is and we brought her
here because Nova needed a Bengal friend to play with since our
spoiled rotten mascots, Siamon & Pastaga just couldn't keep
up with her. Be sure to check back with our kitten page for
current news on her status. She flirted a little with her old freind
Dapper-Dom but is absolutely crazy about Kato and shows it by climbing his cage
and sweet talking him with her purr~meow . Simba's first
litter at Etché is with this truly virile stud, they are
obviously attracted to eachother and it is be interesting to
see what these wonderful yet diverse lines have produced
together.
